Universitat de València-Estudi General (hereafter, «UV») is fully committed to respecting people's privacy. To this end, and in order to guarantee the application of the fundamental right to the protection of personal data, the UV has adopted this basic data protection policy, which is based on Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, General Data Protection Regulation, and Organic Law 3/2018, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights, and applies generally to any website within the domain www.uv.es, institutional portal of the UV.
Its purpose is to inform users about how personal data is collected and processed, providing relevant information to the user, and establishing the conditions for accessing and using the UV's institutional portal regarding privacy.
However, specific or complementary privacy policies may be established for certain websites contained in the institutional portal. The user must verify the conditions governing personal data processing in:
- The electronic headquarters of Universitat de València.
- Contact or suggestion mailboxes.
- Procedures specifically enabled for the collection of personal data.
