ODSERVA 3.0 at the Universidad de La Laguna

On June 24, we took part in the event “Feel the change: a sustainable future in the Canary Islands”, held at the Universidad de La Laguna (ULL). This gathering, focused on sustainability and the 2030 Agenda, was the perfect setting to share the latest developments of our platform for monitoring and tracking the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the session, we highlighted the “2026 Updates”, which include the addition of AI to generate reports on how users perceive the SDGs, as well as the creation of hands-on physical workshops that now complement the existing virtual challenge experience.

ODSERVA 3.0 is not just an update; it is a qualitative leap designed to boost analytical capacity and support data-driven decision-making for public administrations and organizations committed to sustainability. The integration of Artificial Intelligence will enable, among other things, more accurate predictive analysis and even more intuitive and useful data visualization.

A cornerstone of this new stage is the integration of educational and experiential components. ODSERVA 3.0 features physical workshops thanks to the invaluable work of Cintia Hernández Sánchez, a researcher at the Universidad de La Laguna, who has been one of the project’s key pillars this year. Her contribution allows the technology not only to analyze data, but also to reach the community through high-impact educational activities.

We were able to showcase these capabilities through an immersive Virtual Reality demo, sparking a constructive dialogue with attendees. The physical workshops led by Professor Hernández Sánchez were also part of the experience, addressing critical topics such as water management, gender equality in science and marine pollution.

We are deeply grateful to the Universidad de La Laguna for the invitation and for the excellent organization of such a necessary event. We return to Valencia with renewed energy and the confirmation that ODSERVA 3.0 is an essential tool for the sustainable future we are all working to build.
