Two public universities, a multidisciplinary team and a network of collaborators make this project possible.
The universities
Universitat de València
Universitat de València coordinates ODSERVA 3.0. Its commitment to sustainability is structured through UV Sostenibilitat, an initiative driven by the Vice-Rectorate for Sustainability, Cooperation and Healthy Living.
The technological development of the project is led by the ARTEC group, part of IRTIC, a multidisciplinary team of about 30 people with experience in Virtual Reality and simulation since 1992. It has facilities such as a four-screen CAVE and its own simulators, as well as access to the Tirant supercomputer and the Artemisa system for artificial intelligence and Big Data projects.
University of La Laguna
University of La Laguna (ULL) leads the territorial implementation of the project in the Canary Islands. It brings its experience in sustainability workshops with games and educational materials, and designs and coordinates training sessions on the SDGs in different universities across the country.
Team
- General coordination — Specialist in management of university technology projects with a sustainability perspective. Oversees technical development and liaison with subcontracted entities.
- Technological development and accessibility — Specialist in Unity 3D and virtual reality. Coordinates technical redesign, multi-platform adaptation (VR, mobile) and implementation of universal accessibility.
- Pedagogical content and training — Specialist in education for sustainability and gamification. Leads the design of workshops and educational materials.
- Data analysis and research — Technical profile in computing/data science. Responsible for the AI module and impact reports.
- Communication and dissemination — Professional in institutional and digital communication. Designs and implements the multi-channel communication strategy.
- Territorial activation — Profile with experience in community intervention. Coordinates implementation across different autonomous communities.
- Volunteering — Professional in volunteering programme coordination. Manages integration with VolunCloud and contact with NGOs.
